Reiki combo

Has anyone ever used Reiki in combination with Massage?

(i.e. in closing the session)

heck yes! sometimes I linger on an area on a client and give them a little ReiKi. Last week I gave a client the usual massage but the last few minutes while she was prone, I did ReiKi from the tops of her tips to bottom of scapulas. She was in la-la land and feeling really hazy and good.

Reiki or some type of Energetic work is always incorporated into my sessions. My clients feel the difference and tell me so...

I've been thinking about it...

I was trying to explain energy work (just an offhand description, so to speak *lol*) to a girl client, during massage, by passing my hands over her...she surprised me by saying,

"Gina, I felt something when you did that."

And a Chinese physician I massaged, thought I was doing Chi Quong when I ended massage with cool down digital stroking.

Nevertheless, I'm afraid I've always thought of it as an "either" "or"...its delightful to learn I was wrong.

My Mentor loves Reiki! She's been nudging me to take it, and to do more on the energy work level.
